I had such a wonderful time shooting Blaze, the greyhound, and Brian as a surprise gift for Brian's fiancee. I had never done a shoot of such a large dog before and it was awesome being able to have Blaze as my first big dog shoot. He is such a sweetheart and a big love!
When I was contacted about shooting a surprise 50th birthday party I knew that it would be a blast, and it really was. Lots of kids, dogs and smiling faces. What more could a photographer ask for?

Although it was one of the biggest wedding dates of the year, for several reasons I wasn't planning on working at all for the weekend of 10.10.10. However, when Leslie and James contacted me about doing their wedding just for the portraits and the ceremony instead of the full wedding day, I thought why not? Sounds like fun! And it totally was! Leslie and James were so happy to be getting married on what turned out to be a beautiful (and warm!) Fall day in NYC. I also got to shoot in one of my favorite NY locations - Central Park. What more could a photographer ask for? Oh how about an awesome, laid back couple to work with?
Yen and Shawn's wedding at the Top Deck of the Seamen's Church Institute was a blast to shoot! They are a great couple who were both so happy to be getting married in what turned out to be the only sunny day of that week - is that a sign for wonderful things to come or what? - and to have their amazing friends and family present to witness it. I wish them all the best, though I don't think they need it as they obviously have lots of love in their lives!
